The ending was beautiful, and the friendships that blossomed in the wake of tragedy was overall very lovely. My biggest issue is that I felt no remorse for Alaska's death. She was unfair and unstable, and she tended to taunt others and generally stir up trouble. I didn't care for her character at all.
